Here are the 6 most visited festivals across the world.

#1 – Burning Man, USA

Burning Man festival is an American festival like no others. Yes, there is music, art, and good food, but this festival is about so much more than those elements. It is about the experience.

Burning Man takes place in the middle of a desert and attendees are expected to fend for themselves. To buy supplies or attend events at the festival you must barter with goods, stories, and anything else you have to hand.

The festival claims to be a celebration of art, community, and radical inclusion. The event is 8 nights long and on the final night the key building – the temple is burned.

#2 – Reading and Leeds, UK

These twin festivals take place every year at the end of the British Summer.

The music at the festivals includes rock, punk, alternative rock, pop, heavy metal, and rap. Reading and Leeds have at least 4 stages every year – the main stage, the Radio 1 tent, the Pit, and the other tents vary from year to year.

Some of the biggest alternative bands and acts in the world play at Reading and Leeds. There is also a comedy tent that attracts some of the biggest acts in the UK, Europe, and Australia.

The two festivals happen at the same time, bands play the same sets in the same order on different days at each festival.

#3 – Coachella

Coachella is perhaps one of the most famous festivals in the world right now.

Every year the festival is held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California – in the Coachella Valley. Unlike other festivals, Coachella does not feature camping, instead, visitors stay at local hotels and make their way to the grounds each day.

Over the years Coachella has been headlined by artists like Beyonce, Prince, Coldplay, and Tame Impala.
